Kolkata Medico's Murder: Junior Doctors Organise Candle March in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Junior doctors on Monday organised a candle march against the sexual assault and murder of a woman post-graduate trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9.

Earlier, Telangana Juniors Doctors Association (T-JUDA) had urged all medical colleges in the State to participate in the march.

On Monday, Doctors and medical students staged a protest across the country against the sexual assault and murder. Hospital services across West Bengal were disrupted as junior doctors, interns and postgraduate trainees continued with their strike for the fourth consecutive day.

Meanwhile, Sandip Ghosh, principal of RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata has resigned on Monday.
