Konda Surekha asks district Collectors to implement welfare schemes effectively

Hyderabad: Minister for Forests, Environment, and Endowments, Konda Surekha, on Wednesday asked the district Collectors to implement the schemes being undertaken by the government effectively so that eligible beneficiaries are benefited from them.

The Minister emphasized that the Congress people's government was committed to public welfare as a top priority and urged the district Collectors to implement the new schemes that will be launched from January 26 with dedication to achieve the government’s objectives.

The Congress government has decided to implement prestigious schemes such as Rytu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, issue of new ration cards, and allocation of Indiramma houses from January 26.

Surekha conducted a preparatory meeting virtually with the Collectors of Medak, Sangareddy, and Siddipet districts. Several MLCs, MLAs, public representatives, the nodal officer for the joint Medak district, Hari Chandana, and officials from various departments participated in this program.

Surekha discussed with the Collectors the implementation procedures for Rytu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, issuance of new ration cards, and allocation of Indiramma houses, including aspects such as selection of beneficiaries and actions being taken at the field level.

The Minister instructed the officials to take steps to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the poor people with a humanitarian perspective, without any political interference.
