KTR asks party cadre to question Congress on poll promises

Adilabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday accused the Congress of failing to honour its pre-election promises to farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He alleged that the Congress reduced the promised ₹15,000 per acre to ₹12,000 and called on farmers to decide between Rythu Bharosa and the BRS-led Rythu Bandhu scheme.

Rama Rao criticised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for neglecting farmers and alleged that his leadership had harmed Telangana's economy and real estate sector. He highlighted the BRS government’s investment of ₹1 lakh crore in farmer welfare under former Chandrashekar Rao.

The BRS leader called upon party cadres to question Congress leaders in villages and organise protests in support of farmers at district, Assembly, and mandal levels starting tomorrow.
