KTR didn’t learn from BRS’ defeats: MP Aravind Kumar
Karimnagar: The BJP’s Nizamabad MP, Dharmapuri Aravind Kumar, on Thursday alleged that BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao did not learn anything, even though people taught a fitting lesson to his party by defeating it in both the Assembly and Parliament elections.
Accompanied by Jagtial MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar and former municipal chairperson Boga Shravani, the MP laid a foundation stone for a water supply project under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, to be developed with Rs 38.6 crore in Jagtial district.
The MP alleged that KTR had a hand in the attacks on the Vikarabad collector and other officials in Lagacharla village.
When Rama Rao visited Delhi, he tweeted that his journey to Delhi created a stir in Telangana, which shows his arrogance. People elect political parties to rule for five years; if they do not work according to their aspirations, they dethrone that party. Why should parties encourage attacks, he questioned.
Aravind Kumar also alleged that Rama Rao had a role in the attacks against him and the vandalisation of his house. A complaint was lodged with the Parliament Privilege Committee. People at least gave them 38 seats in the Assembly, but the time has come to get rid of the party in the state, he added.
By conducting a thorough investigation into both incidents, the officials must send KTR to jail like his sister K. Kavitha, he demanded.
