KTR moves High Court to quash FIR in E-car scandal
Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has approached the High Court to quash the FIR filed against him by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with the E-car race scandal.
The court has granted a "Lunch Motion" on the matter. On Thursday, the former minister publicly stated that he is prepared to confront the legal proceedings related to the ACB case against him.
In a chit-chat with the media at the Assembly, K.T. Rama Rao stated that with minister Ponnam Prabhakar's statement, there is no corruption in the E-car case. He emphasised, "There is not a penny of corruption in the case." Rao added that if the government proceeds with the case, they will face it legally.
