KTR Seeks Apology From Congress Leaders
The BRS leader listed what he called the Congress’ promises of Rs.12 lakh Dalit Bandhu, Rs.6 lakh grant for Dalits to construct homes, pattas for assigned land, and financial incentives under the Vidyajyothi scheme for Dalits

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Monday sought an apology from top Congress leaders for letting down Dalits in Telangana by not keeping their promises made to the community. “The Congress’ much-hyped SC Declaration, announced during the election campaign, has turned into an empty gesture with the Congress government not implementing a single commitment,” he claimed.
Rama Rao, speaking at the party headquarters Telangana Bhavan after offering floral tributes to Dr B.R. Ambedkar, said the BRS is committed to Dr Ambedkar’s vision of social justice.
The BRS leader listed what he called the Congress’ promises of Rs.12 lakh Dalit Bandhu, Rs.6 lakh grant for Dalits to construct homes, pattas for assigned land, and financial incentives under the Vidyajyothi scheme for Dalits.
“Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has orchestrated this fraud. The Congress brought in AICC president Kharge to announce these promises because nobody trusts Revanth Reddy’s words. People believed Kharge’s assurances and voted for Congress, only to be cheated. Kharge must answer for this betrayal,” Rama Rao said.
