Hyderabad: Parigi police took former Kodangal MLA and BRS leader into custody on Saturday for questioning in connection with the Lagcharla incident, where the Vikarabad collector and some revenue officials were attacked last month.
Police transported him to Vikarabad from Charlapalli jail where he is currently lodged. The development comes after a court granted two-day police custody.
Narender Reddy is a key accused in the case for allegedly hatching a plan to destabilize the Revanth led Congress government by creating law and order issues.
