Emphasizing the Modi government's commitment to the state, he said the Centre allocated ₹5,000 crore for development of railways in Telangana. Although the state received thousands of crores from the Centre, the Congress carried on its false propaganda against the central government, he alleged.
He expressed dissatisfaction with the comprehensive survey by the state government, claiming that it has not been conducted properly.
The Congress is trying to gain political advantage by including Muslims in the BC category. The BJP strongly opposes reservations based on religious grounds. Such actions go against the principles of fairness and equality, he added.
Lakshman criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and warned that if the CM does not change his language, he can meet the same fate as former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Revanth's assumption that criticising the PM would gain him popularity is nothing but foolishness.
The BJP leader also took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, mocking the party’s inability to win even a single MLA seat in Delhi, calling it a "dacoit" situation for the Congress.
Expressing confidence that BJP would get success in the MLC elections, he asserted that BJP candidates will register a thumping victory with the support of educated and various other sections of people.
