Law would take its own course in Allu Arjun’s case: CM Revanth Reddy

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday said the law would take its own course in connection with the arrest of the popular film actor Allu Arjun.

Interacting with the media persons lobby in Lok Sabha in New Delhi, he made it clear that there would not be any role from the government side in the case and added that everyone would be equal before the law. Responding to the arrest of Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede at Sandhya 70 MM theatre on December 2, 2024, he said the police were taking action following the death of a woman in the stampede.

With regard to the issue related to film actor Manchu Mohan Babu, he said the matter was now under the purview of the court. Asked about the rumours related to expansion of the State cabinet, Revanth Reddy said the issue must be discussed with the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other senior leaders.
