A 12-year-old girl named Pandey was attacked by a leopard on Thursday at Chalama on Nallamala Ghat Road in Giddalur, Nandyal district. The incident occurred while families of labourers from Chhattisgarh were working on a railway project in the area. The leopard attacked Pandey, prompting the workers to scream for help, which caused the animal to flee. Pandey sustained injuries and was taken to Nandyal Government General Hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition.
