Nizamabad: Residents of Gundaram and Malkapur villages in Nizamabad district are on edge following a recent leopard sighting in the area. The big cat is suspected to have killed a goat near the outskirts of Malkapur.
Villagers discovered the leopard’s pugmarks and alerted local forest officials. In response, officials from the North Division Forest Department visited the site to investigate the incident.
Residents of Gundaram, Malkapur, and nearby villages have called on the forest department to capture the leopard to prevent further harm to humans and animals in the region.
