Hyderabad: BJP candidate from Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, Madhavi Latha Kompella is trailing by a massive 3,19,761 votes to AIMIM candidate, Asaduddin Owaisi.
However, Madhavi Latha has got an upper hand in the postal ballot counting. The BJP candidate received 3,413 votes through postal ballots, while AIMIM chief secured 2,703 votes.
Madhavi Latha, also secured majority votes from the Hindu belts, such as the Goshamahal segment.
The counting had begun at 8 AM on Tuesday and according to the latest Election Commission of India trends, Asaduddin Owaisi is racing towards a comfortable victory with almost 6.3 lakh votes.
