Maha Shivaratri Celebrated with Devotion in Nizamabad, Kamareddy

Nizamabad: Maha Shivaratri was celebrated across Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts on Wednesday as hundreds of devotees thronged Lord Shiva temples to offer special prayers.
Devotees, including a few couples who performed Abhishekam, witnessed long queues at prominent temples such as Sri Neela Kanteshwara and Shambhuni in Nizamabad, as well as Ekachakra in Bodhan and Siddi Rameshwara at Bhiknoor.

Maha Shivaratri, marked by fasting and overnight vigils known as Jagarana, also sees devotees purchasing fruits in large quantities. Additionally, TGSRTC officials arranged special bus services to facilitate the journey of devotees heading to Sri Raja Rajeshwara temple in Vemulawada and Sri Gnana Saraswathi temple in Basar.
