Maha Shivaratri Preparations in Full Swing in Vemulawada

Karimnagar: Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple authorities stepped up preparations for the three-day Maha Shivaratri festival. The festival falls on February 26 this year. Executive Officer K. Vinod Reddy is overseeing the arrangements.
Key preparations include levelling the parking area with tractors to accommodate more devotees. The temple’s gopurams and walls have been freshly painted, and essential facility upgrades are in progress. Enhancements such as CCTV cameras, smart TVs, drinking water stations, improved lighting, and fans for queue lines are being installed or repaired to ensure comfort and safety.
Additionally, authorities are cleaning surrounding areas to facilitate swift darshan of the deity.
