HYDERABAD: It was a sight to behold as over 100 sturdy and majestic bulls were paraded at the annual Sadar Utsav Sammelan at Narayanguda here on Saturday. The sammelan marks the largest gathering of the Yadav community in the twin cities
Most roads saw a procession of bulls with brass bands and dances adding to the glitter while convoys of traditional dancers made for the liveliness that is unique to the celebration as they neared the venue. The celebrations will go on till early in the morning.
Hundreds of families from the Yadav community made it to the venue as did many visitors while the youngsters were busy taking selfies with the mighty bulls.
The jam-packed gathering enjoyed the drumbeats and dances, while at least hundred people were dancing beside each bull all through the procession. All those who had brought a bull received mementos.
