Major Reshuffle In Cyberabad: 65 SHOs Transferred To Boost Law And Order
The move signalled the beginning of broader changes expected across the state police system

Hyderabad: In a major reshuffle, Cyberabad police commissioner Dr M. Ramesh ordered the transfer of 65 station house officer (SHO) rank officers, including many who were instructed to report to the Multi Zone-2. The purpose of the reshuffle was stated to be to strengthen law and order policing at the ground level and improve transparency and efficiency.
The move signalled the beginning of broader changes expected across the state police system, according to a statement. The SHOs ordered to report to Multi Zone-2 were N. Bhaskar (Chandanagar), Gara Jagannadh (RC Puram); P. Naresh (Ameenpur); Ravinder Reddy (IDA Bolaram); Ganesh Patel (Kollur); Ch. Venkanna (Raidurgam); Punjala Raghavender (Cyber Crimes); P. Kiran (Medchal); Kotha Vijay Vardhan (Pet Basheerabad); G. Mallesh (Jeedimetla) and B. Madhusudhan –(Medchal, traffic).
Sources said many officers had been serving in the same locations for a long, and hence the department had decided to reassign them for administrative convenience. Similar transfers are expected in the other commissionerates in the city.
