Hyderabad: GHMC commissioner Ronald Rose will be on a 15-day leave from Saturday as he is going abroad and an in-charge commissioner will be appointed soon.
“An in-charge commissioner is yet to be appointed. With the election process coming to an end, transfer of senior bureaucrats is on the cards,” said an official from the corporation.
However, whether Rose will continue in the same post or would be transferred elsewhere has not been decided yet, said another senior official.
In addition to transfers of senior bureaucrats, a major reshuffle is also likely in GHMC.
Recently, the commissioner had asked additional commissioner to prepare a list of officials who are serving in the same post and in the same wing for over three years and give them new postings. Services of two retired officials have also been extended.
