Hyderabad: The Saroornagar police on Sunday arrested one Balwinder Singh, 25, for allegedly firing an air gun at his woman friend’s father, a 57-year-old man.
Police said Balwinder Singh was in a relationship with a 23-year-old woman. When he asked her to marry him, she put it off by saying she wanted to study further. Singh reached the girl's house where an altercation broke out with the girl’s father.
Police said Singh fired the air gun at the woman’s father. The pellet narrowly missed the father’s eye. Following a complaint booked by the victim’s family, police arrested Singh and began investigations
