Man arrested for sexually assaulting minor girl
Adilabad: A man sexually assaulted a minor girl at Peechara village in Laxmanchanda in Nirmal district. The incident took place on Saturday but came to light on Sunday.
B. Sagar, 36, lured the 8-year old when she was alone at her home and was playing, by offering her chocolates. He took her to his home and sexually assaulted her and later, dropped her at her home.
The girl informed the matter to her parents on their return home from agriculture fields. Parents lodged a complaint with the police.
Police registered a case against the accused under POCSO and remanded him to jail.
