Man Axed to Death in LB Nagar; Police Suspect Old Enmity Behind Brutal Murder
Police suspect that the murder was committed due to old enmity. Special teams have been formed to search for the accused.

Hyderabad: The LB Nagar police on Sunday registered a case against four persons for allegedly running their car over a 30-year-old man and hacking him to death in an act of vengeance stemming from an old enmity.
According to LB Nagar inspector K. Vinod Kumar, the deceased has been identified as Mahesh (30), while the assailants included Purshottam and three accomplices. All of them are absconding.
Mahesh was out on bail 20 days back in an attempt to murder case registered against him by the Chaitanyapuri police. His targets were the four accused.
In order to settle scores, the accused around 12.45 am on Saturday, chased the victim who was riding a two-wheeler and rammed their car into the vehicle.
“They picked up an axe and a knife and attacked him,” the inspector said.
A video of the incident was captured on a CCTV camera near the crime spot. LB Nagar police booked the accused for murder and under the Arms Act. Efforts are underway to nab the accused.
Police shifted the body to the mortuary for postmortem.
