Nalgonda: A 35-year-old man, identified as K. Venkat Reddy from Bongoni Cheruvu of Chityal mandal, died on the spot in a road accident on National Highway 65 near Velminedu on Friday.
According to police, Venkat Reddy was driving a tractor when a TSRTC bus from Khammam district allegedly hit it from behind. The impact caused the tractor to overturn, resulting in severe head and chest injuries to Venkat Reddy. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Police suspect the bus driver’s negligence led to the accident and are investigating further.
