He received a separate sentence of five years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5,000 for the POCSO Act violation with a further one month of imprisonment in case of failure of payment. Both sentences will run concurrently.

provide a compensation of Rs 3 lakh to the victim on account of his physical and mental suffering.

The incident took place in October 2019 when the boy was playing with his sister in front of their house. The victim’s mother filed a complaint alleging that Mohd.
