Hyderabad: The special zonal crime team of city CCS along with a drug inspector arrested a man for procuring Mephentermine injection vials.
Based on a credible information the zonal crime team, CCS, detective department (DD), arrested Syed Affan (22) a AC from Sabernagar, Asifnagar and seized 150 Mefhentermine sulphate injection vials, D.Bikshapathi inspector CCS –DD said..
After conducting enquiry and examining the drug the accused Syed Affan along with the seized 150 Mephentermine injection vials to drug inspector, Mehdipatnam zone for further investigation.
After injecting the Mephentermine drug, that is harmful, the person experiences side effects such as systemic hypertension (high blood pressure), anxiety, D.Bikshapathi said.
Generally people who do physical workouts in Gym etc will consume this drug for instant growth of muscles and sometimes lead to serious health complications, inspector said.
By consuming this drug, there will also be a chance of intoxication which may lead the public to commit crimes.
The Drug is not advised to be taken without proper medical prescription as the drug has side effects, a press release issued by Dara Kavitha, DCP CCS (DD) on Saturday stated.
