Toopran: Fire Breaks Out In Carrier Truck On NH 44, 8 Cars Gutted
The accident occurred on National Highway 44 while the container truck carrying 8 new cars was traveling from Maharashtra to Hyderabad for delivery.

Medak: A massive fire broke out in a car carrier truck on the outskirts of Nagulapally village in Tupran Mandal, Medak district, on Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred on National Highway 44 while the truck was traveling from Maharashtra to Hyderabad.
Eight cars inside the container were gutted. Two fire engines were pressed into service, and it took the firefighters around two hours to douse the flames. The blaze led to a major traffic jam on NH-44, prompting local administration and police to clear the road and temporarily halt vehicles heading toward Hyderabad.
Visuals of the accident shared on social media showed the entire truck, its internal racking system, and the driver’s cabin completely charred. Fortunately, there were no casualties, as the driver and the assistant managed to exit the vehicle on time, though officials estimate damage worth crores of rupees, as they were new cars being delivered to the showroom.
Preliminary reports suggest the fire may have been caused either by a short circuit or a technical fault, considering the extreme weather conditions.
