Meenakshi Natarajan Likely to Take Charge as AICC Telangana In-charge on Feb 23
On February 14, the Congress high command appointed Natarajan to replace Deepa Dasmunsi

Hyderabad: Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan is expected to visit the city on February 23 to formally take charge as AICC incharge for Telangana. The party has yet to issue an official confirmation regarding her visit.
On February 14, the Congress high command appointed Natarajan to replace Deepa Dasmunsi. Natarajan is expected to take charge at Gandhi Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud and top leaders.
This appointment marks the third change in the AICC in-charge for Telangana Congress in just over a year. Since the party's victory in the Telangana Assembly elections in December 2023, it has witnessed several shifts in AICC incharge level. Notably, this is the fourth change in AICC in-charge in less than two years.
In January 2023, the party replaced MP Manickam Tagore with Manickrao Thakre, only to bring in Deepa Dasmunsi later that year. Now Dasmunsi has been replaced with Natarajan.
Both Natarajan and Dasmunsi were assigned the responsibility of monitoring the party's activities during the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
Natarajan is considered a key member of the AICC leadership team and enjoys a close association with Congress leader and Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi.
