Hyderabad: AICC in-charge for Telangana Meenakshi Natarajan directed party leaders to remove cut-outs, flex boards and banners of party leaders at Gandhi Bhavan with the exception of those featuring top leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge.
Natarajan, who will formally assume her role as AICC in-charge on Friday, is set to preside over the TPCC executive committee meeting which will be attended by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and other ministers.
Following her directives, TPCC chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud issued instructions to party leaders and activists, stating that no cut-outs, flex boards, or banners featuring Meenakshi Natarajan or any other leaders should be erected to welcome her to Telangana or Gandhi Bhavan. Party leaders and workers were advised not to present shawls, flower bouquets, or burst crackers to celebrate the occasion. The event is to be kept simple and formal.

Upon her arrival at Gandhi Bhavan, Meenakshi Natarajan will chair an extended TPCC meeting on Friday which will be attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Cabinet ministers, Congress MLAs, MLCs, MPs, and other senior leaders. The meeting will focus on devising poll strategies for the upcoming local body elections and gearing up party leaders and activists for the electoral battle ahead.
