Telangana: Notification to recruit 2,050 Nursing Officers released

Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) invited online applications for the post of 2,050 nursing officers to be hired for various departments. Online applications will be enabled from September 28 and candidates can file applications on the MHSRB webite: mhsrb.telangana.gov until 5 pm on October 14. The Computer Based Examination will be held on November 17.

Around 1,576 nursing officers will be placed in the directorate of Public Health and Family Welfare or Directorate of Medical Education. The Telangana Vaidya Vodhan Parishad hospitals will get 332 nurses. About 61 will go to AYUSH department, 80 will be placed in MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre and 1 will be placed in Institute of Preventive Medicine.

The pay-scale would be between Rs.36,750 to Rs.1,06,990. The candidates must have completed a course in General Midwifery and Nursing (GNM) or have BSc degree in Nursing. They must also be registered with the Telangana Nursing Council.
