3.8 magnitude tremor strikes past midnight, residents panic

Nalgonda: Mild tremors were felt in parts of Bhadradri-Kothagudem district in the early hours of Sunday, with no reports of casualties or damage.
Residents of Kothagudem, Paloncha, Mulkalapalli, Burgampad, Bhadrachalam and Manuguru experienced the tremors at around 2.26 am for a few seconds, prompting people to step out of their houses.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake measured 3.8 on the Richter scale. The epicentre was located about 111 km northwest of Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh at a depth of around 10 km.
Officials said there were no reports of loss of life or property damage.
