Following the incident four platoons of Armed Reserve forces, two platoons of QRT teams along with a task force controlled the agitated mob and assured them that a stern action will be taken after a thorough investigation.
“We received a call from the control room at 8.20 and rushed to the scene and inquired about the incident,” Mohammed Munawar, ACP Kulsumpura said.
DCP south west zone B Chandra Mohan, who visited the scene, said that they suspect that an animal might have carried the flesh into the place of worship.”
The police registered cases for intentional damage or defilement of places of worship or sacred objects, criminal trespass in crime number 36 of 2025 under section 329 and 298 of BNS Act it is proved during investigation that miscreants have committed the crime we will take a stern action against them, a police officer said.
