The Military Hospital in Secunderabad held a blood donation drive on Tuesday as part of the lead-up to the Army Day Parade 2025. The initiative was organised under the headquarters of the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) and the Dakshin Bharat Area, with the theme ‘Donate Blood – Save a Life’.
TASA General Officer Commanding Major General Ajay Mishra, who inaugurated the event, encouraged soldiers to donate blood and dispel myths surrounding the act, calling it an important contribution to saving lives.
As part of the drive, several units of blood were donated to Gandhi Medical College and Hospital. The drive was aimed at encouraging more such efforts in the future.
