Hyderabad: As a part of its plans to promote tourism in the state, the tourism department has offered a 15 per cent discount at Haritha Hotels for employees of Raheja Mindspace on Tuesday
In a meeting with the IT employees at Raheja Mindspace on Tuesday, tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao launched the discount coupon.
“For the widespread promotions of the state’s tourism wing, I have become a salesman and come here. Telangana has a rich and historic culture, and we host naturally-evolved waterfalls, water bodies, temples, tribal societies and several types of tourism such as eco-tourism, tribal tourism and even medical tourism. But, we could never market our offerings.”
“We will bring new directions for our tourism department, and we are setting up detailed plans to host national and international tourists”, Krishna Rao added. He said that the discount coupon system shall be expanded to all IT employees in the state soon, and requested the employees to take part in the promotions of Telangana’s culture.
