Nizamabad:Employees of Mission Bhagiratha protested at the superintendent's office on Friday, demanding answers to the tragic suicide of assistant executive engineer K. Sai Charan.
The protesters, holding placards that read “Justice for Sai Charan,” voiced their concerns over the circumstances leading to Charan’s untimely death. They insisted that the reasons behind his suicide be thoroughly investigated and brought to light.
Speaking at the protest site, leaders of the Mission Bhagiratha employees said that K. Sai Charan had joined the organisation in November 2024. They alleged that unbearable work pressure was a significant factor that drove Charan to take his own life.
“We need a transparent inquiry into the suicide of our colleague, AEE K. Sai Charan,” declared one of the employee leaders. The protesters emphasised the necessity of understanding the root causes to prevent such tragedies in the future.
