Miyapur: 13-Year-Old Girl Dies After Falling Into Open Water Tank
Police said Charan’s daughter, Sara, accidentally fell into a water tank that had been left open on the apartment premises at around 7:30 pm.
Hyderabad: A 13-year-old girl died after accidentally falling into an open water tank at an apartment complex in Miyapur on Monday evening. The incident came to light when the girl’s father, who had been searching for her since evening, discovered her body in the tank.
According to the Miyapur police, Charan and Renuka, a couple from Maddirala Thanda in Tekulapalli mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, have been working in Gokul Plots, Miyapur, for the past ten years. The couple has two daughters and a son. Charan had joined Sri Residency apartment as a watchman just a week ago.
Police said Charan’s daughter, Sara, accidentally fell into a water tank that had been left open on the apartment premises at around 7:30 pm. When the girl could not be found, her worried parents began searching for her. Upon noticing the open tank, they found Sara unconscious in the water.
She was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Nizampet, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Miyapur police reached the spot and gathered details about the incident. The girl’s parents have expressed suspicions regarding her death. Police have registered a case and are investigating whether it was a tragic accident or if there were any other circumstances involved.
