MLA Raja Singh threatens to quit BJP for ignoring his appeal
Unable to bear humiliation in party, Raja Singh

Hyderabad: Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh threatened to quit the party if it fails to appoint the person referred by him as the president of Golconda unit.
He accused the leadership of appointing a person, who is maintaining close association with MIM, as president of Golconda unit, which comes under the jurisdiction of Goshamahal Assembly constituency represented by him.
Stating that he was unable to bear the humiliation in the party, Raja Singh said if the party strongly felt that his services were not required then he would happily submit his resignation and made it clear that he was ready to leave the BJP.
He said he won’t like to be a broker, which a few leaders do within the party. “When I urged the leadership to appoint the Golconda unit president either from a Backward Classes or SC community, the leadership turned a deaf ear to my request and appointed a person who is close to MIM,” he said.
“I called a senior leader to enquire about it over the phone but he responded in a negligent manner,” Raja Singh said. He said he was already fighting with the Congress and if the BJP fails to appoint the candidate suggested by him then he would quit the party.
