WARANGAL: The Station Ghanpur MLA, Kadiyam Srihari, made sensational comments on Thursday regarding the BRS party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family, stating that all family members would be arrested and sent to jail. Speaking at a meeting with party workers in Chilpur village, Malkapur mandal, Jangaon district, Srihari accused various members of the former CM's family of involvement in corrupt activities.
He alleged that Kavitha was arrested in connection with a liquor scam and may face jail time. Additionally, K.T. Rama Rao could be arrested in an E-formula race scam, while the former CM and Harish Rao might be arrested for alleged technical mistakes in the Kaleshwaram project. Srihari asserted that the entire Kalvakuntla family could potentially face legal troubles.
The MLA demanded that the Chandrashekar Rao family disclose their assets from before and after the formation of Telangana state in 2014. He accused them of exploiting Telangana’s resources and engaging in new forms of corruption. Srihari criticised the Rao’s family for claiming to be virtuous and honest despite allegations of corrupt practices, questioning how the family acquired assets worth thousands of crores from an initial amount of less than Rs 10 crore and obtain hundreds of acres of land.
