MLA thanks CM for govt junior college in Jagtial
KARIMNAGAR: Government Chief Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday for fulfilling the long-awaited dream of residents in Medipally mandal, Vemulawada constituency, by sanctioning a Government Junior College in Jagtial district.
Started by MLA Srinivas, the state government issued Government Order (G.O.) MS No. 44, officially approving the establishment of the junior college in Medipally mandal.
Speaking at the event, Srinivas highlighted that during the tenure of the previous BRS government, the Congress actively campaigned for the college through protests. These were driven by the challenges faced by students in Medipally mandal and neighbouring villages, who lacked adequate educational facilities.
Srinivas emphasised that the current government listened to the appeals from both students and Congress leaders. He stated, "During our election campaign, the Congress promised to sanction a Government Junior College in Medipally. We have honoured that promise within the first year of our administration, ensuring that the educational aspirations of the Medipally community are met."
