Modi to Launch Projects, Address BJP Rally in Hyderabad Tomorrow
The BJP sees Telangana as a potential state where it can come to power on its own and the party's state unit is confident of gaining momentum following PM Modi's visit

Hyderabad:Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Hyderabad on Sunday to lay foundation stones, inaugurate and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth around ₹9,400 crore in Telangana. These projects collectively aim to strengthen connectivity, improve logistics efficiency, enhance safety and provide a better travel experience for passengers.
The major infrastructure projects reflect Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Telangana for Viksit Bharat’, focusing on integrated infrastructure development to drive economic growth, improve quality of life and build a faster, more connected nation, a media statement issued by Prime Minister's Office said on Saturday.
Modi will arrive at the Begumpet airport at about 2.50 pm from Bengaluru and will be received by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, BJP president N. Ramchander Rao, and senior leaders. A grand reception awaits the PM, with cultural troupes performing Batukamma and Bonalu. A tight security ring including 2,000 police personnel, sniper teams, and CCTV surveillance has been put in place.
After arrival, Modi is likely to hold brief meetings with senior BJP leaders and then proceed to Sindhu Hospital in Hitec City by road. He dedicate to the nation Sindhu Hospital, a state-of-the-art, cancer-focused multi-super speciality quaternary care not-for-profit institution.
Later, the PM will proceed to Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) by road, where he will launch projects and inaugurating some rail and road projects. Revanth Reddy will accompany Modi to Sindhu Hospital and to the HICC.
Later, the PM will proceed to residence of AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in Jubilee Hills by road to inquire about his health following a recent sinus surgery. Modi will later proceed to the residence of AP Chief Minister N, Chandrababu Naidu, also in Jubilee Hills.
Modi will proceed to Parade Ground, Secunderabad, by road to address a BJP public meeting at around 6 pm. The party is expecting 2 lakh attendees, facilitated by four special trains and buses from across the state.
Among the infrastructure projects that the Prime Minister will inaugurate or dedicate to the nation are the PM MITRA Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal costing ₹1,695 crore. This will be India's first fully operational project under the 5F (Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign) vision, featuring zero-liquid discharge and connectivity to expressways and ports.
Another major project is the Smart Industrial City in Zaheerabad, coming up at a cost of ₹2,360 crore. This is a 3,245-acre hub under Hyderabad-Nagpur Corridor for automobiles, food processing, and metals, eyeing ₹10,000 crore investments and jobs.
The four-laning of NH-167 between Gudeballur and Mahbubnagar, approved by the Union Cabinet recently at a cost of ₹3,175 crore), will cut travel time by 1.5 hours and boost Telangana-Karnataka industrial links.
Also on the Prime Minister’s agenda are ₹1,535-crore rail projects — the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking (118 km) and Kazipet bypass to decongest the Grand Trunk route and `600-crore Malkapur terminal of Indian Oil which will enhances 1.65 lakh kilolitres petroleum storage. He will also inaugurate the Sindhu Hospital at Hitec City, 1,500-bed cancer-care centre with 29 OT suites across 2.1 million sq ft.
