Monsoon Measure: Division-wise water-logging points to be identified

Hyderabad: As a part of the monsoon distress mitigation measures, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) managing director C. Sudarshan Reddy has directed officials to identify waterlogging points division-wise, and take up works to prevent sewage overflow and ensure there are warning boards and grills at deep manholes.

He also directed the officials to collect drinking water samples frequently to check for contamination and continue the water kiosks that were set up during the summer. “Complaints related to polluted water supply should be given top priority,” he said.
