Hyderabad: With the GHMC considering a proposal to build a multi-level parking facility at KBR Park, standing committee members and officials inspected the proposed site on Wednesday.
The facility is designed to accommodate 70 cars daily. The construction is expected to cost Rs.10 crore, with the company behind the project seeking a 20-year lease. This apart, the facility will feature digital advertisements and a canteen, enhancing its commercial viability, and generating more revenue.
The parking facility is intended to optimise space in KBR Park, providing a structured solution to the growing traffic woes. The multi-level design aims to maximise the number of vehicles accommodated. The facility will be an upgrade over existing parking options, offering both convenience and increased capacity, the civic body said.
The GHMC's review process will continue, focusing on the financial and operational aspects of the proposal.
