Musi River will be developed as best tourist spot, says Ponnam
Hyderabad: BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar here on Saturday said the Musi River would be developed into the best tourist spot in the State.
He sought the cooperation of all the political parties to help those, who believe that they would lose their properties as part of the Musi beautification project, to ensure proper rehabilitation to them. “No one will be rendered homeless. If anyone loses their property, they can approach the government with the help of the local leaders,” he said.
Interacting with media persons, he said the State government was moving ahead by taking up various innovative projects aimed at developing the city on all fronts. Hyderabad’s brand image would be further taken forward with the prestigious Musi River project.
With the Musi River beautification project, more employment opportunities would be created as tourism would be developed to a large extent. The Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was leaving no stone unturned in completing the project at the earliest and accordingly preparing plans, Prabhakar, who is also Hyderabad incharge Minister, said.
He earlier visited 2BHK flats in Saidabad and interacted with residents. He later inspected Government Degree College in Saidabad and spoke to students enquiring about the facilities being provided to them. Advising students to lay more focus on their studies, the Minister assured that he would take necessary measures to resolve their problems.
