Nabcons exceeds its funding target in Telangana
Agri infra projects in Telangana got Rs 3,075 crore

Hyderabad: Nabard Consultancy Services (Nabcons), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nabard, has lent Rs 3,075 crore for the agricultural infrastructure projects, and the figure is all set to reach a target of Rs 4,000 crores by March 2026.
“Several rice and dal mills have come up in Telangana with a funding of Rs 1,500 crores from Nabcons. We have also lent Rs 700 crores for constructing godowns. Under this scheme, the borrowers can avail loans without collateral up to Rs 10 crore and the benefit will be in the form of interest subvention of three per cent,” said Uday Bhaskar, chief general manager of Nabard, Telangana.
Nabard’s other initiatives include the development of 1,000 MW of solar power projects through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), with support from the Centre and banks. A concessional interest rate of six per cent and a 10 per cent margin will be extended to the entire project, beyond the current Rs 2 crore limit under the AIF scheme.
Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd. has received 200 proposals under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan till now.
