Four of family killed after mud roof collapses on them in Nagarkurnool
Nagarkurnool: In a tragic incident, a family of four lost their lives early on Sunday morning when a mud roof collapsed on them in Vanapatla village in the district.
According to the Nagarkurnool SHO, the incident occurred around 2 am, likely due to the recent heavy rains causing the roof to weaken and sink.
Bhaskar, 28, the husband, fortunately escaped with injuries as he was sleeping outside at the time of the collapse. his wife Padma, 26, along with their children — twins Pappi and Vasantha, aged 6, and their 10-month-old son — were killed in the mishap.
The bodies have been shifted to a government hospital for autopsy.
