Naidu pays tribute to Ramoji Rao

Naidu remembered the immense service of Ramoji Rao to the media industry in the Telugu states

Hyderabad: TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu who went to New Delhi to attend the NDA meet held to elect the Prime Ministerial candidate reached the airport this morning to fly to Hyderabad.

Naidu paid tributes to media baron and Eenadu chairman Ramoji Rao who passed away early this morning.

Naidu remembered the immense service of Ramoji Rao to the media industry in the Telugu states. "We all expected that he would return home but never expected to hear this news," Naidu said.

Rao's death is a big loss not just to the Telugu states but to the entire nation, he added.

Chandrababu Naidu and Ramoji Rao share an amicable relationship as they travelled together in the last 40 years with Naidu being in politics and Ramoji Rao being a crusader for the cause of public welfare through his Eenadu newspaper and TV news channel.

From Hyderabad, Naidu is scheduled to leave for Vijayawada.
