Hyderabad: The ‘Hyderabad Deccan’ Nampally railway station that is undergoing a Rs 327-crore redevelopment will be directly connected to the Nampally Metro Station, officials said on Friday. The work, which commenced in September last, will be completed in around 28 months.
A senior official from SCR said that the main focus areas of the redevelopment are segregation of arrival and departure passengers and superior road connectivity and adequate parking space, including basement parking.
“There will also be provision of flexibility for integration of facilities with future transport infrastructure and efficient multimodal interface," the official told Deccan Chronicle.

Some of the other development works are two renovated station buildings (across 9,245 sq.mt), installation of solar panels, increased ceiling height, 14 retiring rooms and expanded Divyang-friendly facilities.
