Hyderabad: The Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) hosted the Cancer NEXT 2024 conference, bringing together oncology experts, researchers, and healthcare innovators. Under the leadership of Prof. Bheerappa Nagari, NIMS director, the conference showcased the institution's efforts towards advancing cancer research and treatment.
The event featured research presentations from NIMS's departments, includingsignificant contributions from Prof. Vijay Kumar Kutala's biochemistry teamand Prof. Sadashivudu G's medical oncology unit.The conference recognised excellence in research through cash awards of Rs 5lakhs sponsored by Rajender Chandak, Rajesh Maggu and Virupaksha.
