Hyderabad:The vascular surgery department at NIMS has performed over 1000 fistula arteriovenous surgeries so far this year, surpassing the previous year's record of 1,000 surgeries in a full year. The department is led by Dr Sandeep Mahapatra.
Nims director Dr Bheerappa Nagari appreciated the effort of Dr Anusha A. and the team for the record. The event was marked with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by Nims medical superintendent Prof. Nimma Satyanarayana, deputy medical superintendent Dr Krishna Reddy and others.
