No doubt about BRS returning to power: KCR
HYDERABAD: BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday said there should be no doubts on the party returning to power. Speaking at his Erravalli farmhouse, he said “in these past 11 months people have seen the Congress government and everywhere they are saying that we will be back in power.”
“We are not the kind who say let’s throw this person, let’s throw that person into prison just because we are in power. We focused on working for the people, to lift those who are downtrodden and provide opportunities to such people to improve their lives.”
He was addressing a group of party leaders and workers, led by former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, who met with him at his farm house. “The role of a government is to work for all, take up constructive activities. You are all witnessing how those in power now are speaking,” he said.
Chandrashekar Rao said people had realised in the last 11 months what they have lost. “A government should work for the people, not adopt a rowdy attitude,” he said. “We delivered 90 per cent more than what was promised in our manifesto, and made long-term plans for all round development of all sections.”
