“No review was conducted so far in phone-tapping case,” says Revanth Reddy

New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said the investigation into sensational phone-tapping was continuing and no review was conducted so far in connection with the case.

Interacting with media persons in New Delhi, he said a decision on the issue related to Medigadda barrage would be taken only after getting the judicial inquiry report. Referring to the electricity bills of Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS), he said the bills were like water left in the sea and added as many as 52 TMC of water was left in the sea.

“If former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao attends the Assembly session from next time onwards, we will discuss several issues with him,” he said. Revanth Reddy said the very mention of Telangana would remind everyone of sacrifices and agitations made to attain separate Statehood and to remember them the State emblem and anthem would be prepared.

Sacrifices of martyrs and the rich Telangana heritage and other crucial aspects would be narrated in the anthem. “We have entrusted the responsibility of composing music to Telangana anthem to eminent poet Andesri,” he explained, adding that Andesri would take a final decision on who should be the music director for anthem.

The official emblem of Telangana would be without any traces of monarchy and there would no “Kakatiya Toranam”. The spirit of “Sammakka Saralamma” and “Nagoba” jataras would reflect in the emblem along with struggles and sacrifices made for achieving separate Telangana.

Revanth Reddy, who attended the book launch ceremony organised by Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) in Kozhikode, Kerala on Monday, came to New Delhi on Tuesday.
