Numaish 2025: Fewer Visitors, Strong Business
Despite lower footfalls, Numaish records strong business

Hyderabad: Fewer visitors turned up at the 84th Numaish, the All India Industrial Exhibition, which will conclude on February 17, organisers and vendors said, but the sales were better than than last year.
“Compared to last year, the crowd has reduced by around one lakh people, likely due to the Kumbh Mela,” said an event organiser.
Despite the lower footfall, businesses reported steady sales. “Shopping has been very good, and business is doing well,” said Kumar Prabhu, a clothing vendor. “I think many people from Hyderabad have travelled there,” Prabhu added.
The exhibition had a slow start in its first two days. The Numaish was extended by two days past its usual conclusion of February 15 as it began late, in view of the state mourning declared following the death of former prime minister Manmohan Singh.
“This Saturday and Sunday could see a better turnout,” an organiser shared.
Featuring 2,000 stalls, Numaish offers a wide range of products. The stalls operate daily from 4 pm to 10.30 pm, with extended hours until 11 pm on weekends. The event also includes cultural programmes, food stalls and entertainment activities.
“All scheduled events have gone well, and visitors have shown interest,” an official said. With only two days remaining, organisers are hoping for a last-minute surge in visitors. Some attendees have already made multiple visits.
“I came to the Numaish four days ago with my friends. Now I’m going again with my mother,” said H. Magesh.
