Old students of NSM Public School elect body, to set up pan India chapters
Hyderabad: Venkat Jagadish Nalluri was elected as president of the governing council of NSM Old Students’ Association, elections for which were held on Monday. Gurjeet Singh Sahani will be the secretary of the body, whose three-year tenure runs up to March 31, 2027.
The investiture ceremony of the first elected body of the institution was held in the school premises, where the chief patron of the association, Principal Rev Bro Rayappa Reddy administered the oath to the office-bearers, who will serve a three-year term until March 31, 2027.
The governing council deliberated on activities for the period ending March 31, 2025 and resolved to enroll members and establish chapters across India and overseas.
The council also formed eleven subcommittees. The NSM Old Students Association organized six other events to commemorate the school's 50th anniversary and a community service project.
The event also celebrated the school’s history, fostered community spirit and highlighted the past and present achievements. The newly elected office-bearers pledged to uphold the values and ideals of N. St. Mathew’s Public School.
